Boating is a popular sport here.  Boaters meet every Thursday for dinner, dancing and fun activities in waterfront local resturant.   It's a lot of fun and great way to meet new people.  We have some serious boaters here.  Bahia Mar marina hosts Fort Lauderdale Boatshow with some excotic and Mega Yachts on display.   You can see them from your Terrace.

On the beach, there is volleyball, kite surfing, Cannoes, jetskies, Bikini Watching (it's an olympic sport here), board surfing, parasailing and of course boating
